Deborah Ann (Debby) Wilson

Deborah Ann (Debby) Wilson, 69, of Meadville, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023 at Meadville Medical Center following a sudden heart illness.

She was born September 16, 1953 in Meadville, a daughter of William Hartz Wilson, II and Barbara Ann Morgan Wilson.

Debby was a 1971 graduate of Meadville High School and a graduate of Muskingum University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology.  She worked her entire career in the family business, Wilson Building Supplies.

Debby was a life member of VFW Post 2006 and enjoyed attending the YMCA and participating in the Silver Sneakers program.  Debby also enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, swimming, being outdoors, traveling, shopping, participating in the Charity Follies for several years, her two dinner clubs, holiday gatherings and family reunions, and especially spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, and her fur baby Baxter.

Debby was affiliated with Stone United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Carly (Rice) Bowser (Derek) of Natrona Heights and Stephanie Rice (Ryan Wilson) of Erie; three grandchildren, Braelyn and Braxton Wilson and Sutton Bowser; her mother, Barbara Wilson of Meadville; two brothers, William H. Wilson, III (Deborah) of Meadville and James H. Wilson of Meadville; and several nieces and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, a sister, Carol Wilson; and an infant brother, John Roger Wilson.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, March 15th from 4-7 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.

The funeral service will be Thursday, March 16th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Sarah Roncolato, Pastor of Stone United Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Saegertown Cemetery.
