Joshua David Soult, 36, of Meadville, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in Pittsburgh following a 4 ½ year courageous battle with Leukemia.
He was born October 3, 1986 in Altoona, a son of Gerald (Bus) Stivanson and Pam Hinterberger. He married Heather Marvin October 29, 2011.
Josh was a 2005 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and the Greater Altoona Career & Technology Center. He worked as a CNC operator at Viking Tool & Gage, for Waste Management as a CDL driver, and operator of Soult & Sons Custom Woodworking.
Josh was a coach for the Saegertown Little Gridders and Flag Football programs and enjoyed fishing, playing catch, and shooting guns.
Survivors, in addition to his wife Heather, include four children, Cash, Pierce, Serenity, and Zayden Soult; his father, Bus Stivanson of Meadville; his mother, Pam Hinterberger (Donnie Ott) of Altoona; two brothers, Josh Hinterberger (Kylie) of Altoona and Lee Coolidge (Kristen) of Meadville; two sisters, Sarah Birchard (David) of Cambridge Springs and Michelle Hinterberger (Shane) of Altoona; his mother-in-law, Kimberly Marvin (Larry) of Meadville; a brother-in-law, Dan Marvin (Whitney) of Meadville; three nephews, Zander, Justin, and Julian; a niece, Layla; and several additional nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Bruce Marvin; maternal grandmother, Judy Edwards; and maternal great-grandmother, Lillian Cassidy.
Family and friends will be received Monday, May 15th from 4-7 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.
A celebration of Josh’s life will be Tuesday, May 16th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
