Nancy J. Fronce

Nancy J. Fronce, 82, of Meadville, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 at the Marquette Hospice House.

She was born June 15, 1940 in Meadville, a daughter of Gerald A. and Zella Schwavey Young.

Nancy was a 1960 graduate of Meadville High School.  She worked at Burger King in Meadville for 18 years and previously at Meadville City Hospital.

Nancy was a member of Charles Stafford American Legion Post 111 Auxiliary and former member of First Baptist Church, Meadville.

Survivors include four children, Daniel Fronce, Gerald Fronce, Donald Fronce, Jr. (Kim), and Rebecca Stirling (Larry), all of Meadville; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Helen Porter (Ralph) of Indiana, M. Susan Meyer (Kraig) of Colorado, and Sally Pleune (Ron) of Michigan; a brother, Charles Young (Margaret) of South Carolina; nieces and nephews; and the Gustafson family who Nancy considered like her own family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and special friend, Ray Williams.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 11th from 1-3 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE where a Celebration of Nancy’s Life will follow at 3:00 p.m.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
