Warren W. Smith, 81, of Guys Mills, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 30, 2021 at his residence.
He was born January 7, 1940 in Pittsburgh, a son of George W. (Ted) and Lavina Maier Smith.
Warren was a 1957 graduate of Randolph High School. He was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a tool and die maker at Keystone Precision.
Warren was an avid gardener, legendary wine maker, loved to cook, dog lover, and brought a smile to everyone. He was loved and will be greatly missed by his co-workers, friends, neighbors, and everyone whose lives he touched.
Survivors include a sister, LuAnn Smith of Guys Mills; a brother, Robert Smith; a step-daughter, Dianna Lynn; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog Max.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, George R. Smith and two sisters, Helen Marks and Donna Powell.
Calling hours will be Friday, November 5th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.
The funeral service will be Saturday, November 6th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Lacy Jackson as celebrant.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills with military honors provided by VFW Post 2006.
