Obituary

Jane E. Latsko, 84, of Cochranton (Greenwood Township), passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 peacefully at home.

 

She was born May 30, 1937 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Paul and Helen Full Hysong.  She married John Latsko, Jr. September 16, 1954 and he preceded her in death March 22, 2019.

 

Jane was a graduate of Mount Mercy Academy.  She, along with her husband John, owned and operated Lake Real Estate and Crawford Mercer Appraisal Service.

 

Jane was a member of Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church.  She actively attended the Lakeland Senior Center, enjoyed reading and sewing, and took tremendous joy in the lives of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

 

Survivors include eleven children, Linda Seng (James) of South Carolina, Mary DeMarco (Dennis) of Conneaut Lake, John Latsko (Maggie) of Indiana, PA, Mark Latsko (Ann) of Meadville, Paul Latsko of Meadville, Luke Latsko of Pittsburgh, Thomas Latsko (Debbie) of New Wilmington, Timothy Latsko (Suzie) of Virginia, James Latsko (Carey) of North Huntingdon, Jeffrey Latsko (Traci) of Erie, and Caroline Sherwin (Greg) of Fairview; twenty grandchildren, Abigail, Max, Blake, John Edward, Meghan, Brenna, Jacob, Mandi, Benjamin, Thomas, Samantha, Jennifer, Rachel, Alexander, Jordan, Elise, Grant, Justin, Katie, and Jack; sixteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and her sisters Arlene Gross (Bill) of Monroeville and Nancy Lawton of Pittsburgh.  She had many dear friends at the senior center and lovely neighbors.

 

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Beener and Charlotte Morris.

 

Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 10th from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at WAID-COLEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 12422 CONNEAUT LAKE RD., CONNEAUT LAKE.

 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, May 10th at 1:30 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of the Americas Church, 155 S. Ninth St., Conneaut Lake with Fr. David Carter as Celebrant.

 

Interment will be in Our Lady Queen of the Americas Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lakeland Senior Center, 209 South Pymatuning St., Linesville, PA 16424.
