Obituary
John E. Fredericks, 83, of Meadville, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023 at Embassy of Park Avenue.
He was born November 13, 1939 in Meadville, a son of George and Stella Zazitski Fredericks. He married Audrey Briggs June 11, 1960.
John worked as a machinist at Channellock. He enjoyed bowling, and volunteering for many years at what is now Embassy of Park Avenue where he called bingo and was affectionately referred to as “Bingo John.”
Survivors in addition to his loving wife Audrey, include three children, Suzanne Williams (Chuck), Theresa Dennis, and Randy Fredericks (Kim), all of Meadville; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Donald Fredericks; and three sisters, Mary Ann DeArment, Dorothy Miller, and Patricia Hollabaugh.
Private family visitation and funeral service will be held at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, 581 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.
Interment will be in Greendale Cemetery.
